thingamablog

apologies for the techy entry, but it’s worth noting that today i replaced my own ruby based blog engine (that was based on emacs’s blogmax) with thingamablog. as i neeeded static html generation that can be hosted anywhere. since this is on my site where installing server side blog tools is not possible currently, this seemed as the only nicer solution than the one i had (nice as in even my mum could and will use it). the only alternative i found was citydesk from fogbugz, however i did not like its price, approach and platform dependency.
